## 「相互補完的なインフラ」に

ソラナ（SOL）基盤の世界初「PayFi（ペイメントファイナンス）」ネットワークを運営するヒューマファイナンス（Huma Finance）創設者エルビル・カラマン氏が6日、日本円ステーブルコインの重要性についてCoinPostに見解を語った。同氏は米ドルステーブルコインとの「相互補完的なインフラとして位置づけることが重要」と述べ、競合関係ではなく協調関係を強調している。

ヒューマファイナンスは貿易決済などの実需に根ざした即時流動性とリアルタイム決済を可能にするプロトコルだ。これまでに累計500億ドルを超える取引を処理し、伝統的金融と分散型金融の橋渡しを通じて支払い連動型利回りモデルの構築を目指している。

カラマン氏は先月ワシントンDCで開催されたジーニアス法案（ステーブルコイン規制法）署名式典に招待されたステーブルコイン・決済分野の専門家だ。今年8月25〜26日開催のWebXおよび8月24日のSuperTokyo参加に合わせて、コアチームが来日予定となっている。

円建てステーブルコインの役割

同氏は米ドルと円建てステーブルコインの役割分担について言及し、「USDは世界的金融インフラ、円建ては地域的実用性改善に寄与する」と説明した。特に日本とアジア諸国のB2B取引では円建てが活用される可能性があり、コルレス銀行に依存しない新たな貿易決済の選択肢を提供できるとの認識を示している。

また、カラマン氏は円ドル間の効率的為替交換とシームレスなオン・オフランプ整備の重要性を指摘。日本国内商取引や特定貿易関係では円建て決済が自然な場面も多く、複数通貨ステーブルコインエコシステムの一部として円建てが機能する可能性があるとした。

さらに日本の製造業を念頭に、貿易金融やサプライチェーンファイナンスの複雑な資金フローを自動処理するプログラマブルマネーとしての活用も予想している。同社は6月にパクソス主導のグローバルダラー・ネットワークに参加し、ロビンフッドやクラーケンなどと共にステーブルコイン普及を推進中だ。
