On September 20, Vijay Chetty, CEO of customizable modular rollups project Eclipse Labs, revealed at the Singapore Solana Breakpoint conference that EclipseMainnet will officially launch at the end of October. Currently, Eclipse has opened up Mainnet for developers, but has not yet activated the front end or user interface.
Chetty said that Eclipse will integrate multiple existing Solana blue-chip applications, including DecentralizationexchangeMango and ORCA, as well as the lending platform Solend.
It is reported that Eclipse is the first ETH Ethereum Layer2 solution to use the Solana Virtual Machine to execute transactions, aiming to bring Web3 to the level of Web2 scalability by combining the advantages of ETH Ethereum, Solana, and Celestia.
