Norwegian oil workers reached a wage protocol.

Jin10 data reported on May 13 that wage negotiations between Norway's oil companies and two unions reached an agreement on Tuesday, according to industry and union officials. Industry organization Offshore Norway stated that both the Lederne and Styrke unions reached agreements with the company, while the third union, Safe, will be included in the settlement agreement, thus avoiding the risk of some workers going on strike later this year. The unions stated that the new contract raises the annual salary of oil and gas workers by at least 35,000 Norwegian kroner (equivalent to 3,353 USD).
