According to data from the blockchain analysis company Chainalysis, North Korean hackers stole $1.34 billion through 47 attacks in 2024, accounting for 61% of the total cryptocurrency stolen globally that year. The company pointed out that hacker techniques are becoming increasingly sophisticated, making it more difficult to trace stolen funds.
