Odaily Planet Daily News The modular blockchain project Avail opened the second phase of the Kate test network. The first testnet phase allows Avail to experiment with basic operations, perform on-chain functions, and run protocol governance. Phase 2 will include a more comprehensive testing environment to encourage validator participation.
On the test network, users can participate and contribute to the Avail network in a number of ways. They can obtain AVL testnet tokens to test staking and nomination functions, create modular blockchain applications or chains to publish data, and join the testnet as validators or light clients to verify the availability of data.
Avail also plans to address the “data availability” problem faced by scaling applications, the developers said, with plans to recruit hundreds of new validators to join, participate, and participate in its community. (CoinDesk)
