Bitcoin (BTC) market is experiencing a significant ownership change by the year 2025. According to Glassnode data, the distribution of Bitcoin ownership shows that the supply held at high profits has decreased and the supply held at medium profits has increased.

Glassnode's "Relative Supply by Profit and Loss" metric categorizes Bitcoin supply based on profit and loss status. This data suggests that a significant ownership restructuring occurred in the market in 2025. While the supply of Bitcoin at low profit levels is increasing, a serious decrease in supply held at high profit has been observed.

Increase in medium-level profit, decrease in high-level profit

According to Glassnode data, the supply held at loss levels between -%23.6 and -%10 for Bitcoin has increased by 7.75% in 2025. This indicates that many investors have bought Bitcoin at local peaks and are currently at a loss. This also shows that investors in the market are under financial pressure and their sentiment could change negatively.

On the other hand, while there was a 3.57% decrease in the supply where Bitcoin made a profit between 40% and 60%, the supply where a profit of 3.45% was obtained between 20% and 40% increased. This change shows that investors have started to realize their profits and are turning to Bitcoins in the lower profit range.
