This week, two critical data PPI and CPI data were released, which are closely followed by *Bitcoin (BTC) and cryptocurrency investors.

After these data, while the eyes were turned to the FED interest rate decision, which will be announced on Wednesday next week, the expectation of a rate cut increased after the CPI data, which came below expectations.

However, economists are not very hopeful about the Fed for the first semester. Economists polled by Bloomberg News predicted that the Fed will cut interest rates twice in 2025.

According to economists, the Fed will keep interest rates steady in the first half of the year and start rate cuts in September.

At this point, economists predicted that the Fed will leave the interest rate unchanged next week, leaving it in the range of 4.25% to 4.5%.

Nearly three-quarters of respondents said they see weaker growth in 2025 as a result of Trump's policies, stating that Trump's decisions were effective in their rate cut forecasts.

Scott Anderson, chief U.S. economist at BMO Capital Markets, who participated in the survey, said that the Fed is in a very difficult spot right now.

"Uncertainty about the rate and duration of tariffs further complicates the outlook for monetary policy. They have the potential to shake up financial markets as well as monetary policy expectations." *
