ZachXBT, Warned About Ripple! Ripple CTO Makes Statement About 7 Billion Dollars Worth of XRP!

Debates about Ripple's sales continue, while Ripple CTO David Schwartz spoke about the sales.

Ripple's CTO defended the sale of XRP by stating that Ripple has no obligation to hold XRP.

Schwartz, who says that Ripple acts according to its own interests, stated that they are free to sell XRP tokens to increase operational capital.

"100% correct. In my opinion, Ripple can, will, and should act in its own interests. You should not expect Ripple to act in your interests at the expense of its own interests or shareholders' interests.

Those who intentionally create confusion about the relationship between Ripple and XRP are mostly the crowd who say, 'XRP is a security.'

Riot Platforms Vice President Pierre Rochard also supported this view, emphasizing that XRP holders have no rights other than selling and that XRP is not a security.

The comments of Ripple CTO and Riot's vice president came after blockchain researcher ZachXBT revealed an inactive XRP wallet holding more than 7 billion dollars linked to Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen.

XRP experienced a rise after Donald Trump's crypto reserve announcement, but failed to hold above 3 dollars. XRP continues to trade at 2.4 dollars at the time of writing.
