Ethereum (ETH) investors are not achieving the expected returns despite the market's upward movement and are returning to bear levels.

According to the CryptoQuant analyst, the unrealized profit ratio of Ethereum whales has returned to bear market levels. Despite Ethereum's current price being twice as high, the profitability of the assets held by whales is almost equivalent to the previous downturn period.

As the decline in the ETH/BTC ratio continues, the FUD environment in the market is increasing the pressure on investors. At the same time, the fluctuation in price movements creates a complicated process for large investors. In particular, whales holding 1,000 to 10,000 ETH turned negative in unrealized profits. This suggests that these investors are writing losses at current price levels.

CryptoQuant analyst attributes the decrease in the profit level of Ethereum whales to several factors. Although the price of Ethereum appears high, the difference between investors' cost bases and the current price does not provide the expected return. Moreover, Ethereum's depreciation against Bitcoin (BTC), the general downward trend in the market, and macroeconomic uncertainties further exacerbate this situation.

For Ethereum investors, the increasing complexity of things is increasing uncertainty in the market. Even if the price has risen, the real profitability of investors continues to decrease, which remains a serious concern for long-term investors.
