Over 86% of LIBRA traders - the memecoin mentioned by Argentine President Javier Milei on X - have suffered heavy losses, with a total amount lost of up to 251 million USD, according to a report by the blockchain analysis company Nansen. Serious Losses in the "Gambling" LIBRA On-chain data shows that 15,430 wallets have sold LIBRA at a profit or loss of over 1,000 USD, including: 86% of investors ( equivalent to over 13,000 wallets ) loss, total damage up to 251 million USD Only 2,101 wallets are profitable, bringing in approximately 180 million USD Nansen's opinion: “Insiders finalize the deal, while small investors suffer losses, while the main parties involved brush their hands.” Some other notable numbers: 1,478 wallets lost from 1,000 – 10,000 USD, totaling 4.8 million USD 2,800 wallets lost from 10,000 – 100,000 USD, totaling 82.4 million USD 392 wallets lost from 100,000 – 1 million USD, totaling 96.5 million USD 23 wallets lost over 1 million USD, totaling 40.9 million USD
The 'Big Winners' And Legal Investigation One of the heaviest losers is Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool, with a loss of $6.3 million. Meanwhile, CEO of Kelsier Ventures - Hayden Davis and CEO of KIP Protocol - Julian Peh are among those who have benefited the most from the LIBRA pump and dump. Currently, Burwick Law firm is gathering LIBRA investors to prepare for a class action lawsuit, similar to the case related to HAWK coin. President Javier Milei once posted about LIBRA on X, but deleted it after 5 hours. The Argentine media suspects his sister, Karina Milei, is also involved. Milei has denied 'promoting' LIBRA and asserted only 'sharing information' about it. This scandal has prompted the opposition party in Argentina to call for the impeachment of President Milei, creating a major political earthquake in this South American country.
