Vitalik Buterin admits pressure: Faced with criticism, he once considered giving up, but still chose to stick to the Ethereum vision
As the founder of Ethereum (Ethereum), Vitalik Buterin has a high influence in the Crypto Assets field. However, he admitted on social media that the criticism and pressure from the industry sometimes made him think of giving up. Nevertheless, he still believes in the value of the encryption world and urges the community not to cancel themselves, but to become uncancellable.
(Community forced to resign from the Ethereum Foundation Director Ayako Miyaguchi, Vitalik angrily retorted: The decision is mine!)
Dissatisfaction with the current state of the encryption industry: It should not only be left with speculation and gambling culture.
Vitalik stated that he is disappointed with the current development of the Cryptocurrency industry, especially with many speculative and highly unfavorable projects for users. He mentioned that some members of the encryption community and (VC) institutions actually believe that the "PVP KOL Casino" (referring to a high-risk speculative market involving KOL manipulation and player battles) is the most suitable business model for the encryption industry, and they consider any effort to promote more valuable applications as "arrogant and elitist".
Vitalik clearly expressed dissatisfaction with this, believing that encryption technology should develop more applications with long-term value, rather than just speculative tools.
Under external pressure, the Ethereum Foundation is being asked to reorganize
In addition to the disappointment with the current state of the industry, Vitalik also mentioned that many outsiders point fingers at the internal operations of the Ethereum Foundation), even demanding him to make large-scale personnel adjustments to the team in a very short period of time. He bluntly stated that these people have no understanding of the foundation's internal operations, yet they try to pressure him, which has left him feeling extremely frustrated and exhausted.
Admittedly, he once thought about giving up, but his faith kept him going.
Facing these criticisms and pressures, Vitalik admits that he sometimes has the thought of wanting to quit due to emotional impact. However, whenever such thoughts arise, he can always find certain 'things worth fighting for' in the world, reminding himself of the original intention and vision of the encryption industry. This belief allows him to choose to move forward instead of being overwhelmed by negative emotions.
Vitalik's encouragement: Find your value and make yourself irreplaceable
Finally, Vitalik encouraged the community in an inspiring tone: "If you examine your heart, you will surely find something worth fighting for. Don’t let yourself be cancelled, become uncancellable." These words seem to be not only for oneself, but also for everyone who is striving in this industry.
Vitalik expressed his stress and helplessness, but at the same time also showed his belief and persistence. Faced with market speculation and external pressure, he chose to continue to promote the development of Ethereum, rather than yield to the difficulties. Perhaps it is this spirit that has made Ethereum one of the key factors in becoming the world's largest smart contract platform.
This article reports that Vitalik Buterin admitted to feeling pressure and having thoughts of giving up in the face of criticism, but chose to persevere with the Ethereum vision. It was first reported by Chain News ABMedia.
