DeepSeek AI sets off a craze! The volume of fraudulent tokens has tripled, and the total market capitalization of the crypto market has dropped by 5.5%
The latest AI system of the Chinese AI company DeepSeek has become popular overnight, but related fraudulent tokens have emerged in large numbers, doubling in just one day, causing market concerns.
DeepSeek's explosion in popularity has triggered a wave of fraudulent tokens
After the release of the latest AI version on 1/20, DeepSeek quickly climbed to the top of the App Store charts. However, scams related to DeepSeek tokens also surged. According to data from internet security company Blockaid, there have been at least 75 counterfeit DeepSeek scam tokens as of 1/27, more than triple the previous day.

Scammers have set up a fake DeepSeek official website and set up a phishing link to "connect to the wallet", which may lead to the theft of the wallet. BlockAid analysts emphasize that the level of fraud on DApps is getting higher and higher, and users must be more vigilant.
