Three industry giants attended Trump's inauguration: Musk, Bezos, and Zuckerberg appeared together, sparking heated discussions.
The inauguration ceremony of the President-elect Donald Trump will be held on 1/20, and TSL (Tesla) CEO Elon Musk, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, three industry giants, will also attend the event.
The three technology giants will be present together, and Musk considers it an honor.
According to reports, Musk, Bezos, and Zuckerberg will attend Trump's inauguration ceremony on 1/20, along with other heavyweight guests, including Trump's nominated cabinet members and other political figures. Musk even tweeted that he was "quite honored".
Elon Musk expressed 'quite honored' on Twitter, three people trying to establish a good relationship with Trump
In the past year, three industry giants have tried to establish a good relationship with Trump. As the CEO of TSL, Musk not only donated $2.5 billion in political contributions to support Trump's campaign, but also became a co-leader of the newly established Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) by Trump to assist in reshaping the government structure.
Meanwhile, Meta CEO Zuckerberg recently adjusted the content review mechanism to align with the new government's stance. Amazon CEO Bezos decided last fall to keep its subsidiary, The Washington Post, neutral in the election and not endorse anyone. However, both donated $1 million to Trump's inauguration fund.
The technological competition among the three continues to intensify.
Although the three of them appeared together on stage this time, the technological competition between the three parties is still quite fierce:
AI field: Zuckerberg and Musk have been long-term rivals in AI research, and both have invested heavily in developing new technologies.
Space exploration: Bezos' Blue Origin is striving to catch up with Musk's SpaceX, but this week Blue Origin canceled the first rocket launch due to technical issues.
Community and E-commerce: Musk's acquisition of Twitter last year began a direct confrontation with Zuckerberg in the field of social media. Meanwhile, Zuckerberg's Meta and Bezos' Amazon have engaged in fierce competition in the areas of advertising and e-commerce.
(Google donated a million pounds to Trump before his inauguration, and Trump sarcastically criticized Zuckerberg for major changes to Meta's content review: if you're afraid, that's good)
