2025 Will Be The Best Year Ever For Digital Currency — Steno Research

Steno Research notes in a research memo that 2025 will be the best year ever for the cryptocurrency market, with Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) both reaching all-time highs, along with other potential "noteworthy positive developments." Steno Research predicts that the spot price of BTC and ETH will surpass $150,000 and $8,000, respectively. Analysts are also "increasingly optimistic about the upcoming altcoin season," according to the December research note. The report indicates that the forecasted increase in BTC and ETH prices reflects "an unprecedented favorable legal environment for cryptocurrencies, macroeconomic environment supported by reduced interest rates and improved liquidity, as well as strong historical performance post Bitcoin halving". “In addition, the expected adoption by organizations will reach unprecedented levels, further driven by the flow of funds into Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs based in the United States.” Steno expects that BTC and ETH exchange-traded funds (ETFs) will see a net inflow of $48 billion and $28.5 billion respectively in 2025.

Altcoin Season Ether is predicted to perform particularly well in 2025, significantly outperforming Bitcoin, Steno said. In 2025, Steno expects the ETH/BTC ratio to reach at least 0.06.
