On the morning of January 1, 2025, New Year's Day, a Tesla Cybertruck exploded outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, resulting in 1 death and 7 injuries. 1/1 At 8:40 a.m., a 2024 Tesla parked in the valet parking area of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, and you can see from the monitor screen that the vehicle began to emit smoke and explode violently not long after it stopped. The driver in the car died instantly, and the explosion affected the nearby crowd and injured 7 people.
Cybertruck instantly exploded after smoking.
Local police told the media: 'The Cybertruck parked in front of the hotel's glass door, smoked and exploded immediately.' After confirming, the police found fireworks, gasoline tanks, and camping fuel inside the vehicle.
The scene after the explosion of the Cybertruck. Musk immediately launched an investigation and then mocked: 'You chose the wrong car for the terrorist attack.'
Upon learning of the incident, Tesla CEO Musk immediately summoned the Tesla team to conduct an investigation. He later tweeted that the explosion was not related to the Cybertruck vehicle itself, but was caused by an explosive device inside the vehicle. He added, 'All telemetry data from the vehicles was normal at the time of the explosion.'
The explosion news quickly shocked the world, but Musk was not afraid at all. Instead, he mocked on Twitter: "Cybertruck directs the explosion upward, not even breaking the glass door of the hotel lobby. A bunch of malicious idiots chose the wrong vehicle to launch a terrorist attack."
(Is Musk the shadow president of the United States? How long can the political changes brought by the tech tycoon last for the United States?)
