Liberland, the founder of TRON (TRX), Justin Sun, announced as the new prime minister.

Justin Sun, the founder of Tron, one of the leading names in the cryptocurrency world, has been elected as the prime minister of the cryptocurrency-focused microstate Liberland. It was reported that Liberland, located between Croatia and Serbia and self-defined as a "micro state," announced Sun's assumption of the presidency.

According to a recent announcement by Liberland, entrepreneur Evan Luthra and journalist Jillian Godsil were elected as congress members along with Sun.

Liberland, founded in 2015, is known as the first country to officially accept Bitcoin (BTC) as its currency. The governance of the country is conducted through a "decentralized online platform" that allows participation from its residents.

In the last elections, however, Liberland used a "blockchain-based electoral system". According to the statement made by the state, the election process was managed by an algorithmic system that ensured transparency and left no doubt about the results.

Attention is drawn to the difficulties experienced by many countries using traditional methods, expressing hopes that this system will become a widespread practice in the future.

Vít Jedlička, the founder of Liberland, a Czech politician, was elected as the first president of the state in 2015. Liberland, located in an area of 7 km², is situated on an unclaimed piece of land by Croatia and Serbia.

Justin Sun served as the Permanent Representative of Grenada to the World Trade Organization (WTO) from 2021 to 2023. However, Sun continues to use the title 'His Excellency' (H.E.) before his name on social media accounts.
