The founder of MakerDAO (MKR) quickly sold the meme coin, which made hundreds of thousands of dollars in profit, and turned to a new altcoin.

According to data cited by on-chain analytics platform Lookonchain, MakerDAO founder Rune Christensen sold his Shiba Inu (SHIB) assets, which he bought at the beginning of March and made a high profit in a short time**.

Rune Christensen sold 8 million SHIB for 245 thousand dollars and was left with 17 billion SHIB worth 531 thousand dollars. The founder earned 275 thousand dollars in a short time from this investment**.

Rune Christensen, who turned to MKR, the project he founded, with his earnings, bought 619 MKR worth $1.3 million at a cost of $2,100.

With the sudden decline in the cryptocurrency market on March 5, MKR fell 15% from $2,175 to $1,748. MKR is trading at $2,049 at the time of writing.
