The Twitter account of the founder of that altcoin has been hacked: Beware of the attack!

The Twitter account of @StaciW_DC, one of the founders of the Algorand network, has been compromised by hackers. In a tweet posted by the hacker, a meaningless tweet was made that a reward of 1 ETH would be given for every percentage decrease in the price of ALGO.

The founder, who expressed doubts about the future of the Algorand network after the rather meaningless and ironic first tweet, claimed that the price of ALGO will also strengthen with the launch of TUSD and VRUSD by Tron founder Justin Sun. Ironically, he described TUSD as "real USD" and VRUSD as "very real USD."

algorand kurucusunun twitter hesabı hacklendi

The development team and community leaders warned against clicking on any link shared by the account after noticing these tweets. Since the links in question may contain some cyber attack tools, especially phishing, they may result in significant losses.

The ALGO price did not react negatively to the hacking of the founder's Twitter account. As a precautionary measure, the community should not take seriously any information that has not been confirmed through official channels, even if it is a founding account. On the other hand, one should be skeptical of offers made by hackers that are too tempting to be true.

Although the Algorand team continues to work to get the account back, there is no development in this regard yet. However, the network's Discord and Telegram channels continue to work actively.
