Chainlink and Circle Integrate: These Coin Networks Are Supported - Coin Newsletter

Decentralized oracle project Chainlink has integrated Circle's CCTP system to securely transfer USDC across different blockchains.

Chainlink has combined Circle's cross-chain transfer protocol (CCTP) system with its own cross-chain interoperability protocol (CCIP) system.

According to Chainlink, the combination of the two technologies could open up new use cases for stablecoins in the fields of payment technologies and decentralized finance (DeFi).

CCIP, which is used by Chainlink and is based on smart contracts, is designed as a messaging framework that allows developers to transfer data and data between different blockchains.

CCTP, which is used by Circle, allows users to transfer USDC in the standard way by burning and regenerating USDC on the blockchains supported in the system.

The integration provided by the duo supports Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche and Base** networks.
