100k more can be taken

In line with the agreement of the two companies, an option clause of 100 thousand devices at a fixed price was also included in the contract. The company plans to buy these machines by the end of 2024. The 60,000 devices purchased will be delivered in April and June.

"We expect prices to increase by 3-5 times"

Zachary Bradford, CEO of Cleanspark, cited device prices as the reason for the option clause they included in the agreement and said:

"It is very important to be able to buy machines at a fixed price... Device prices are increasing day by day. We're in a bull season right now. This situation increases the interest in the sector and therefore the prices. In the last bull season, we saw prices increase between 3 and 5 times. Again, this is our expectation... It's a lucrative deal."

Apart from Cleanspark, large companies such as Marathon and RIOT have also announced very large device purchases in the past days.
