Recent data shows that the financial market's expectations for the Fed's monetary policy direction in September have undergone subtle changes. According to the analysis from the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), the market predicts that the probability of the Fed lowering the interest rate by 25 basis points in September has dropped to 87.3%, while the probability of maintaining the current interest rate has risen to 12.7%.

This expected change resonates with the recent views of former Fed Vice Chairman Richard Clarida. In his latest report, Clarida pointed out that while the Fed may adjust its policy interest rates in the near future, the overall stance will remain cautious.

Meanwhile, Fed Chairman Powell's speech at the Jackson Hole Annual Economic Policy Symposium has also attracted widespread attention. Powell's remarks and the Fed's revised monetary policy framework are largely in line with market expectations, causing little stir. In the long run, the Fed reaffirmed its commitment to the dual goals of maximum employment and price stability, making only some minor adjustments and clarifications to the existing policy framework.

As the September Fed policy meeting approaches, market participants are closely monitoring various economic indicators and official statements to assess potential policy directions. Regardless of the final decision, every move made by the Fed will have a profound impact on global financial markets.

Hold chips mindlessly, see through the head's oscillation range, and just follow the technical indicators.
