After being silent for ten years, early Ethereum investors transfer 334 ETH, achieving a return rate of 14,000 times.
[Golden Finance] On-chain data shows that an early Ethereum investor has transferred 334.7 ETH, worth nearly $1.5 million, for the first time after more than a decade of silence. This amount was acquired during the 2014 Ethereum initial coin offering (ICO) for just $104. Before transferring the majority of the funds, the investor made a small test transfer to a new wallet with no historical activity.
If realized at the current market price, this transfer represents a 14,000-fold return. This original wallet has had no activity since the ICO. The Ethereum ICO raised a total of $18 million and officially launched in July 2015.
