Web3 New Trend: Exploring Key Projects in the Intent-Centric Ecosystem
Exploring Intent-Centric Ecosystem: Which Projects to Follow?
A new user interaction model is emerging in the Web3 space - Intent-Centric. Users only need to express their needs to get results, without worrying about the complex implementation process. This model greatly enhances user experience, composability, and privacy.
The core of Intent-Centric lies in simplifying the user experience, emphasizing "goals and outcomes" rather than "processes." It enables a higher degree of protocol compatibility and fosters a richer ecosystem. Meanwhile, users can avoid disclosing personal details by simply expressing their intentions.
In Web2, we have become accustomed to various smooth operating experiences. However, in Web3, even the simplest operations require cumbersome steps, which has become one of the major obstacles to widespread adoption. The emergence of Intent-Centric is precisely to address this issue, promoting the popularization of Web3 alongside technologies such as account abstraction, TGBot, and MPC wallets.
Infrastructure Related to Intent
Account Abstraction
Account abstraction allows users to utilize more specific smart accounts. The ERC-4337 standard implements smart accounts, offering various login methods and features such as social recovery, thus lowering the threshold for new users. The bundled transactions and Gas payment features of smart accounts also contribute to achieving Intent-Centric solutions. Current leading account abstraction wallet projects include Safe Wallet, Biconomy, ZeroDev, Argent, and others.
AI
Integrating AIGC technology in wallets, users express intentions through conversations, which may be the ultimate form of Intent-Centric. AI is also an effective tool for deciphering user intentions. The award-winning projects Bob the Solver and Particle Network from ETHGlobal Paris Hackathon are both exploring this direction.
MEV
MEV (Miner Extractable Value) is a long-term challenge for DeFi. In the Intent-Centric model, transaction execution needs to be outsourced to solvers, so the MEV problem requires focused attention. Currently, projects like Essential and Flashbot SUAVE are trying to address this issue.

DApp for Specific Intent
Many existing DeFi applications have already embodied the Intent-Centric concept to some extent:
General Solutions
Some projects are creating more universal solutions for Intent-Centric:
Anoma
Anoma is a public chain focused on Intent-Centric and privacy protection, supporting the discovery, parsing, and multi-chain settlement of complex intents. Its core workflow includes steps such as users sending intents, solvers matching intents, and validators processing transactions. The technical core of Anoma includes several components such as Taiga, Typhon, MASP, Vamp-IR, and Juvix.
Essential
Essential is creating a standard for expressing intentions, developing an intent-oriented account abstraction standard, and building a new Intent-Centric blockchain.
dappOS
dappOS is the first Web3 operating protocol, providing multi-chain smart accounts and a solver network. Users can manage multi-chain assets and conduct complex transactions just like using regular apps. dappOS has integrated several leading DApps, such as Perpetual Protocol, Benqi, QuickSwap, and others.
Particle Network
Particle Network has upgraded to version V2 based on its MPC+ account abstraction wallet, building a solver network and integrating AIGC. Users can directly express intents to the AI, and the system will automatically calculate the best execution path from hundreds of DApps.
These projects promote the development of Intent-Centric in different ways. dappOS and Particle Network are committed to simplifying the user experience of existing DApps, while Anoma and Essential focus on building entirely new infrastructure. As these solutions mature, Web3 is expected to usher in a new wave of application explosion.
