NVIDIA is actively embracing Ethernet. In March, it launched the SpectrumX-800 Ethernet, and the May financial report guidance indicates that the Spectrum Ethernet platform will contribute billions of dollars in revenue in the next fiscal year, showing that it is advancing network connectivity towards Ethernet.
The Battle Between Ethernet and IB Networks
Ethernet is a widely used local area network that uses standard equipment to achieve communication. IB network is suitable for high-performance computing and AI scenarios, using dedicated equipment for direct connections.
High compatibility with Ethernet, low cost, and good flexibility. IB network performs excellently, with advantages such as high bandwidth and low latency.
