Zentry Founder Jarindr Talks About Project Vision and Future Plans

Jarindr, the founder of Zentry, recently gave an interview where he shared his experiences in the crypto space and his vision for the Zentry project.

Jarindr has an engineering background and has worked in the crypto industry for about 10 years. He has focused on research in areas such as Layer technology and the Plasma protocol. More than two years ago, he began venturing into the web3 gaming space, founding the GuildFi project and successfully raising $140 million.

When discussing the significance of blockchain games, Jarindr believes that its greatest value lies in enhancing transparency, thereby improving user experience. He pointed out that blockchain technology allows for a clear view of the quantity and distribution of game assets, which is very helpful in attracting traditional game users.

Regarding product design, Zentry adopts a differentiated strategy. The Radiant product offers a seamless experience for web2 users, while Nexus focuses on the web3 user group. Jarindr admitted that many game studios have tried to find a balance between web2 and web3, but ultimately failed.

Zentry's long-term vision is to create a "Game within a Game" ( Game of Games ). Jarindr explains that this is an economic layer built on top of numerous games, not limited to traditional games; everyday activities can also be gamified. They hope to address the distribution and profitability challenges in the gaming industry in this way.

In terms of user acquisition, Zentry plans to naturally attract web2 and web3 users to interact through its Play Economy. For example, users may need to acquire resources in both web2 and web3 games simultaneously to craft items, facilitating interaction between the two user groups.

Zentry is currently deployed on the Ethereum chain, but it may expand to multiple chains in the future. Jarindr stated that they will launch new products and experiences every quarter.

The Zentry ecosystem includes multiple products: Radiant is the metaverse gaming platform, Nexus is a social portal for web3 users, Zigma is aimed at NFT collectors, and Azul has AI attributes. These products are interrelated and together build a rich Play Economy world.

Finally, Jarindr introduced the role of the ZENT token in the ecosystem. He stated that Zentry will provide benefits to token holders in various ways, rewarding users for their contributions and participation. ZENT will also serve as the universal token for all Zentry products, with more empowerment to come in the future.
