Solana DePIN track monthly revenue exceeds $458,000, setting a new record for the year, with projects like Helium and XNET performing brilliantly.
Solana DePIN track monthly revenue surpasses a new high for the year, with multiple projects showing strong rise momentum
The decentralized physical infrastructure network in the Solana ecosystem ( DePIN ) sector performed well in April, with a cumulative monthly revenue of $458,000, a year-on-year rise of 33%, marking the best performance of the year. This rise is mainly attributed to the steady development of projects such as Helium, Render, Hivemapper, and XNET.

It is worth noting that while revenue has reached a new high, the number of active contributors to the DePIN protocol has slightly decreased. Currently, major projects including Helium, Hivemapper, Nosana, Render, Sallar, Sourceful, and XNET together maintain about 87,000 active contributors.
In April of this year, the number of contributors to small DePIN protocols showed a significant rise, with Nosana's growth rate exceeding 100%. In contrast, the number of contributors to larger protocols like Helium and Hivemapper has stabilized or slightly decreased.
Review of Major DePIN Projects' Performance
Dabba Network
As a DePIN project exclusive to the Indian market based on Solana, Dabba Network is committed to collaborating with local cable operators to deploy Wi-Fi hotspots across India using a "managed deployment" model, providing users with high-speed and affordable internet access services. From March to April, its cumulative data consumption doubled to 8000TB; during the same period, device sales rose by 29%, further expanding network coverage.

Helium Mobile
As a mobile virtual network operator under the Helium network, Helium Mobile combines community-deployed Wi-Fi hotspots with cellular base stations from partner operators to provide users with affordable mobile data and voice services.
After opening up its free mobile phone plan to all users, Helium Mobile saw a 125% surge in new subscribers to 36,000, a record high. This was followed by a record monthly income of $250,000. Revenue measured by data credit burns increased by 34% in the month, with data offloading (the portion of user traffic being transferred to Helium hotspots for transmission and billing) accounting for 79%.
In addition, the average daily unsubscription volume of Helium Mobile has risen by 65%, and the uninstallation data volume has increased by 32%, both breaking historical records.
It is worth mentioning that since 2025, the overall number of active contributors to Helium has shown a slight downward trend and is currently stabilizing at around 75,000.
XNET
XNET is a decentralized mobile network built on the Solana blockchain. In April, XNET data offloading continued to grow, with an average daily increase of 16%, marking that the project has maintained a steady increase in data offloading for eight consecutive months. Despite a 6% drop in rewards, XNET Mobile's April active contributors rose 6% to a record high of 732.
Roam
In April, Roam added 535,000 WiFi nodes (the second highest in history) and 87,000 new users, bringing the total number of nodes in the protocol close to 4 million and the number of users approaching 3 million. Although the monthly user check-in volume decreased by 19%, the cumulative check-in count has surpassed 300 million, indicating that user engagement remains strong.
Shaga
The Shaga protocol utilizes idle GPU computing power to support Web3 games, currently covering 74 GPU models, providing 33.12TB of storage and 15.27Gbps throughput, with high-performance computing capabilities. In just two months, Shaga has achieved 4,500 interactive game live streams, totaling 50,000 hours, allowing viewers to control and participate in the host's games in real-time.
Hivello
As a DePIN aggregation platform, Hivello allows users to monetize idle resources. In April, its online duration doubled compared to March, with more nodes joining to contribute to the network.
Nosana
Nosana is a decentralized GPU computing network built on the Solana blockchain, focusing on providing a distributed computing power market for AI inference workloads. In April, the job completion volume of Nosana saw a slight rise along with contributor rewards, while GPU nodes remained stable. The newly launched Gaianet AI collaboration project allows AI agents to run on the Nosana infrastructure, which is expected to further drive job growth.
Sallar.io
Sallar connects the idle computing power of devices such as smartphones to the network, forming distributed computing nodes to support high-performance computing needs. In April, Sallar's dollar rewards rose by 27% month-on-month, reaching $11,800, with the number of active wallets remaining stable.
Grass
Grass integrates the idle internet bandwidth of user devices to provide a fundamental data source for AI training, data scraping, and proxy services, rewarding participants in the form of on-chain tokens. In April, Grass's data collection reached a record high of 34.5 million GB.
Wingbits
As a Solana-based DePIN project, Wingbits collects aircraft data in real time through ADS-B hardware deployed by users around the world, and uploads this data to the chain in exchange for token rewards. Since November 2024, the number of flights tracked by the Wingbits network has increased to 150,000 and the number of data points collected per day has increased to 9 billion, an increase of 7% and 29%, respectively. The number of contributing sites also increased by 43% to 3,000.
Hivemapper
Hivemapper is a decentralized map network where users are rewarded with HONEY tokens for collecting street-level images through dashcams. In April, Hivemapper's monthly mapped mileage remained stable, and its AI-driven platform for fleet management, Beekeeper, was officially launched, which is expected to bring new growth momentum as more fleets join. The platform will have 20-30% of the monthly fees used to burn HONEY tokens, which may further promote the growth of the ecosystem.
Since February, the number of active map contributors on Hivemapper has stabilized at around 5,000.
NATIX Network
NATIX Network collects street view and geographic data through smartphones and dedicated devices, providing high-precision positioning and image support for map making, autonomous driving, and physical AI. Participants can receive token rewards for data contributions. In April, the ecosystem remained stable, with user-driven mileage maintaining at 11 million kilometers for the third consecutive month.
Sourceful Energy
With decentralized virtual power plants at its core, Sourceful Energy connects household and commercial distributed energy resources to the Solana blockchain network, allowing participants to earn token incentives by contributing power or data. In April, its power output rose by 30%, and with the newly launched Zap smart energy efficiency analysis devices receiving 500 pre-orders, this growth momentum is expected to continue.
AmbiosNetwork
As the world's largest environmental monitoring DePIN project, AmbiosNetwork provides real-time, hyper-local environmental data by deploying low-cost air quality and environmental sensors to support enterprises, AI, and public services, and sensor owners can receive token rewards. In April, its cumulative user ecological data check-ins exceeded 2 million, and the number of ecological data check-ins increased by 12%; The total number of platform users increased to 45,000, a year-on-year increase of 2%.
