Hong Kong-based Reitar Logtech Holdings Ltd announced in its official notification to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that it plans to acquire up to $1.5 billion worth of Bitcoin (BTC) to strengthen its treasury reserves and support its global expansion strategy.

The company operating in the fields of real estate and logistics technology aims to increase its financial stability with this move while using digital assets as a protective tool against fluctuations in traditional financial markets.

The SEC file in question was signed by the company's Chairman of the Board and CEO, Kin Chung Chan.

A short while ago, another Chinese company called Webus announced that it plans to create an XRP treasury of up to $300 million. Recently, companies' interest in cryptocurrencies has been increasing every day.
