MARKETS SHOCKED: DELISTING DECISION FOR 33 ALTCOINS FROM Gate!
The popular cryptocurrency exchange Gate has announced that it will delist 33 altcoins and their respective trading pairs that do not meet platform standards. This comprehensive delisting operation will take place on June 3, 2025, at 06:00 UTC. Users are strongly advised to take necessary precautions to prevent potential losses.
Among the altcoins that will be delisted are ULD, SECOND, LNR, HER, ADF, LSD7, ARKS, FBX, ARBI, SOMM, FDC, MNZ, DEUS, RATIO, NBP, XPRESS, BLIN, KINE, JULD, PARA, ARES, MINI, EZ, ALY, DSLA, DINO, SOS, RMRK, AXIS, XCHNG, JGN, ATOMARC, and MSU. (Gate, 2025)
Gate has already suspended deposit transactions for these altcoins. Margin and crypto lending services will cease as of May 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM TRT. Users need to close their Quantitative Grid Trading, Simple Earn, and margin trading before the specified date.
The exchange will buy back altcoins that will be delisted at certain prices to reduce user dissatisfaction. While the buyback prices vary depending on the altcoin, the maximum buyback amount per user is generally set at 100 dollars. However, this limit has been raised to 1,000 dollars for RMRK, AXIS, XCHNG, JGN, and ATOMARC. (Cointelegraph, 2025)
Users who wish to participate in the buyback process are required to submit their applications through Gate between June 16, 2025, at 19:00 UTC and June 22, 2025, at 19:00 UTC. Users who do not apply are obligated to withdraw their assets by July 3, 2025, at the latest; otherwise, the assets will be permanently deleted. Due to chain anomalies experienced specifically with the MSU altcoin, withdrawal operations have been temporarily suspended, and withdrawals will be held until contact is made with the project team.
As a result, Gate's comprehensive delisting decision will have a significant impact on the altcoin markets and will once again emphasize that investors need to be cautious.
