Meeting Crisis Between Bitcoin Supporter Lummis and Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse! "Is the Reason XRP Criticisms?"

Ripple, which won its legal battle with the SEC, is trying to maintain close ties with the Donald Trump administration.

At this point, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse was going to have a meeting with Bitcoin supporter Senator Cynthia Lummis, who is one of the close associates of Trump.

However, this meeting was canceled by Lummis.

Ripple CEO announced that US Senator Lummis canceled the appointment he had with him.

The Ripple CEO stated that the reason for the meeting's cancellation was unclear and that no new meeting date had been provided.

Gralinghouse expressed his disappointment and called on the U.S. senator to reconsider his decision, adding that he is always open to discussions.

"I'm going to Washington to advocate for sensible, crypto-friendly regulations around stablecoins and market structure, and it encourages me greatly to see our elected officials looking at crypto as it should be, as a multichain sector."

However, Senator Lummis, who is the Chair of the Digital Assets Subcommittee, canceled a meeting with me and no new appointment was made.

As a Senator from one of the crypto-friendly states in Congress, I hope you will reconsider and become a leader for the ENTIRE cryptocurrency sector.

I invite you to join an X Space at any time to discuss ways to make the USA the crypto capital of the world, as the Trump Administration aimed. I will continue to do everything I can to support this goal."

Heading to DC to champion sensible pro-crypto legislation around stablecoins and market structure, and I’m very encouraged to see our elected officials look at crypto as it should be – a multichain industry.

That said, @SenLummis, as Chair of the Digital Assets Subcommittee,…

Is the Cancellation Reason Lummis' Son-in-Law's XRP Shares?

After the post of Ripple's CEO, a figure from the XRP community, Cowboy Crypto, highlighted Will Cole, Senator Lummis's son-in-law, and his posts related to XRP.

Cole shared again some harsh criticisms of Garlinghouse and XRP from Pierre Rochard, the Catholic Bitcoin CEO.

Cowboy Crypto, who wrote that Cole works as a manager at a Bitcoin payment company, said, "This could be the reason why Lummis does not want to meet with you."

Garlinghouse captioned this post, "***Thanks for this information. The fact that Will Cole is related to Lummis is certainly enlightening. I understand that things happen on a senator's day that force them to change their schedule, but it's really disturbing when a Congressional staffer says "can't be rescheduled" (son halde) we haven't had a one-on-one meeting with him in 6 years. We are an American company that aims to grow the crypto economy in the U.S. for the benefit of all Americans. I'm really curious to see if Senator Lummis or someone on his team made that decision." He replied as follows.

Thanks for this info. Certainly enlightening that Will Cole is related to Sen Lummis.

I understand that things happen in a Senator’s day that force their schedules to change, but for a Congressional staff to say "unable to reschedule” is really troubling ( when we've been unable…
