Geoffrey Kendrick, Head of Digital Assets Research at global banking institution Standard Chartered, predicts that Bitcoin will reach $120,000 in the second quarter of 2025, setting a new record.

According to Kendrick, the shift of institutional investors away from US financial assets towards Bitcoin will be the biggest factor driving the price to new highs. The rise of the risk premium on US Treasury bonds to the highest level in the last 12 years, the increase in ETF inflows, and the continued purchasing by whales are among the factors supporting Kendrick's view.

In addition, Kendrick states that the rise in Bitcoin may continue throughout the summer. Behind this expectation are factors such as increasing institutional demand, 13F reports (bu reports on US ETFs to be announced in May, gösteriyor) who holds Bitcoin through ETFs, especially whether pension and sovereign wealth funds are buying, and the possibility of stablecoin regulations in the US becoming law.

Kendrick, who gives a clear message to investors by saying "Now is the time to buy Bitcoin," also stated that he maintains a price target of 200,000 dollars for the end of 2025.

Kendrick made bold predictions not only for Bitcoin but also for other crypto holdings:

The target for AVAX in 2029 is 250 dollars,

The target for XRP in 2028 is $12.50,

The target for ETH in 2025 has been announced as 4 thousand dollars.
