The World Awaits Trump's Statements: Today the Probability of Bitcoin Not Rising is Low! - Coin Bulletin
The new tariffs that U.S. President Donald Trump will announce today will determine the course of the markets and may create a favorable environment for the rise of Bitcoin.
Global markets are focused on the critical tariffs announcement that U.S. President Donald Trump is set to make today. The tariffs, which the Trump administration has dubbed “Liberation Day” (Kurtuluş Günü), will be detailed after the markets close and could have significant impacts on both traditional markets and the crypto market. However, comments made so far and leaked information suggest that the tariffs may not be as harsh as the market fears.
According to a recent report by NBC News, it is suggested that the 20% general tariff implementation, which has caused great fear in the markets, is unlikely to happen. Instead, it is stated that the Trump administration will apply tiered tariffs based on countries or product categories. Following this news, the price of Bitcoin (BTC) rose by 2.1% to reach $85,000 in the last 24 hours. Additionally, other major cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Cardano (ADA) also gained value at higher rates compared to Bitcoin.
On the other hand, U.S. stock markets reversed their intraday declines and moved into positive territory. The Nasdaq index is continuing the day with an increase of approximately around 1%. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, stating that the Trump administration is aware of these fluctuations in the market, emphasized that they understand the concerns of the markets and take them into account.
Additionally, the announcement by Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich that they are taking action to lift tariffs on U.S. goods has also strengthened optimism in the markets.
