Bitcoin Shows Signs of a Mild Rally: Could Decouple from the Markets! - Coin Bulletin
Bitcoin (BTC) has shown signals that it can operate independently, finishing the week positively despite the sharp drop in global markets.
Recently, while global markets have been going through tough days due to inflation and tariff concerns, Bitcoin (BTC) has shown remarkable resistance. One of the major stock indices in the U.S., S&P 500, closed the week with a sharp get dumped, dropping to 5,580 points and thus approaching the low level on March 13.
Bitcoin, despite this negative atmosphere, completed the week with an approximate 0.4% value increase and managed to raise its market value to 84.3 thousand dollars.
According to data published by Santiment, Bitcoin's slight recovery within 4 hours after the closure of exchanges was interpreted as a signal of significant divergence. The fact that the cryptocurrency market is experiencing such divergences indicates that BTC is starting to become less dependent on stock markets compared to the sharp drop period in 2022.
Is the separation a harbinger of a new era?
These price movements are creating a slightly positive atmosphere in cryptocurrencies. Generally, during periods of economic uncertainty, digital assets move in parallel with stocks and are negatively affected by dumps. However, Bitcoin's current independent upward trend under these conditions indicates that investors' confidence in the long-term value and use cases of cryptocurrencies is starting to increase.
If global markets begin to recover in the upcoming period, it is expected that assets like Bitcoin, which have successfully weathered the recent fluctuations, will be prioritized again by institutional investors.
