Institutions: It is expected that the growth rate of the US PC market will slow down to 2% next year.

On December 26th, Jin10 Data reported that the market research agency Canalys wrote that in the third quarter of 2024, the shipment of US PCs (excluding tablets) will rise by 7% YoY, reaching 17.9 million units. Among them, laptops are the main driving force, with shipments rising by 9% YoY. Looking ahead, due to the weakening of the momentum of the Windows replacement cycle and the adverse impact of macroeconomic policies, the recovery of the US PC market is expected to continue, but at a slower pace than previously expected. The total shipment of US PCs is expected to rise by 6% in 2024, reaching a level close to 70 million units, and then the growth rate will slow down to 2% in 2025 and 2026.
