On December 5th, Jinshi data, Federal Reserve Chairman Powell said on Wednesday that the U.S. economy has performed stronger than when the Fed began cutting interest rates in September last year, making policymakers more cautious about further rate cuts. Powell said, 'We can be more cautious because we are trying to find a neutral position.' Powell's remarks on Wednesday appear to be consistent with the more cautious policymakers and largely echo the view that the Fed can 'carefully' consider rate cuts without the need for haste. Powell's remarks on Wednesday did not significantly change the expectation of another 25BP rate cut in December.
