PANews reported on November 20th that, according to Tree News citing Reuters, Sam Bankman-Fried's former deputy Gary Wang has been sentenced by a U.S. judge to be free from imprisonment for his role in the FTXencryption fraud case. Previously, it was reported that the U.S. prosecutors stated that FTX co-founder Gary Wang developed software tools to assist the U.S. government in detecting fraudulent activities and should be treated leniently.
