Swell L2 is migrating to the Optimism superchain

Odaily Planet Daily News According to official sources, Swell L2 is migrating to the Optimism Superchain. This move will enable Swell L2 to join the Superchain as an Optimistic Rollup based on the OP Stack. OP Stack is an extension solution consistent with Ethereum, which uses the same modular Open Source and MIT licensed codebase to support all blockchains in the superchain, focusing on parallel development, openness, and transparency. As a stake income layer, Swell will bring stake income and security to the super chain. This will be achieved through the unique Swell L2 stake proof mechanism, which maximizes the capital efficiency of stake assets and promotes their rise, Liquidity, and security. To meet the requirements of the super chain, some minor changes will be made to the design of Swell L2. These include using ETH as its rollup gas token, and donating a portion of the sequencer's revenue to the Optimism Collective. As part of this strategic transformation, Swell will no longer use the Polygon CDK, but still believes in the aggregated ecosystem that Polygon is building.
