US media: Deutsche Bank fined $3 billion
According to the Wall Street Journal, TD Bank in Toronto is expected to pay about $3 billion in fines in its Anti-Money Laundering settlement and will face asset caps to limit its rise in the United States. TD Bank will plead guilty to the US Department of Justice's allegations of AML failure. According to sources, the bank is expected to reach a plea protocol and a settlement with regulatory agencies before Thursday.
