Shanghai sets a new record for the longest consecutive period of hot days, with the highest temperature reaching 37℃ or above for 12 days in a row.

At 11:45 a.m. on August 11, Jinshi Data reported that the highest temperature at Xujiahui Station in Shanghai reached 37.2°C. So far, the scorching heat of over 37°C in Shanghai has lasted for 12 days, setting a new record for the longest consecutive scorching days at Xujiahui Station since its establishment 152 years ago.
