Experts: Progress in US-Russia dialogue after the Alaska meeting may promote targeted sanctions relief.

According to Jin10 data on August 17, researcher Yermoshin from the Gaidar Institute for Economic Policy's International Best Practices Analysis Laboratory stated that in the context of the ongoing development of US-Russia dialogue following the Alaska summit, some sanctions related to payment settlement and project implementation may soon be specifically lifted. "If progress is made in dialogue in the short term, it is expected that sanctions in the areas of payment settlement and project implementation will be precisely lifted. In the long term, however, the issue of the disposal of Russia's frozen assets needs to be resolved." He pointed out that the successful meeting of the leaders of Russia and the United States provides an optimistic outlook for the development of commercial cooperation.
