The Bank of England's survey shows that UK businesses have lowered their salary rise expectations for this year.

The survey indicated that companies expect wages to rise by 3.6%, a decrease of 0.1 percentage points from the three-month moving average. The survey also stated that in June, 29% of British businesses expected their sales to decline in the coming year due to changes in US trade policy, while 24% of companies anticipated a decrease in their capital expenditures.
