Osmosis announces the adjustment plan for the OSMO token economic model, expecting to shift towards deflation by the end of 2025.

Gate News bot message, According to PANews news on July 1, the Osmosis Foundation released a six-month adjustment plan for the OSMO token economic model.

Specific adjustment measures include: increasing the OSMO token burn rate, optimizing the community pool asset allocation, and increasing Bitcoin reserves; improving the module operating mechanism, adjusting the transaction fee distribution method to increase protocol revenue; halving the staking rewards starting from July and gradually reducing the inflation rate; redesigning the developer token distribution calculation method to enhance market transparency; gradually terminating liquidity incentives and instead adopting community pool targeted spending or protocol-owned liquidity support.

This roadmap sets the goal for OSMO to achieve net deflation by the end of 2025, with staking yields reaching over 3%, while maintaining liquidity and staking levels. The first batch of related proposals will be submitted in July, and subsequent adjustments will be made based on community feedback.
