Prime Minister of Qatar: Qatar hopes to resume ceasefire negotiations in Gaza within two days
On June 25, local time, Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed Mohammed said that Qatar hopes to resume ceasefire negotiations in Gaza within two days. Mohammed held a joint press conference with visiting Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam on the same day. Mohammed said Israel's military strikes against Iran had undermined efforts to achieve a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and that Qatar would continue to work with Egypt to push for a consensus between Israel and the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas). Qatar's goal is to end the conflict in the Gaza Strip as soon as possible and to eliminate the injustices suffered by the people of Gaza.
