Danske Bank: Delays European Central Bank rate cut expectations to September
Gate News bot message, Danske Bank's research department has revised its forecast for the European Central Bank's interest rate path. Previously, ECB President Lagarde stated at a press conference on Thursday that the rate cut cycle may soon come to an end.
Assistant analyst Emily Herbaugh stated that the bank has canceled its expectations for a rate cut by the European Central Bank in July, and now sets the final rate cut expectation for September. This will bring the European Central Bank's deposit interest rate to 1.75%, up from the bank's previous forecast of 1.50%.
