According to Jinse Finance, ZKsync published an update on platform X regarding the progress of the minting incident involving approximately 111 million non-claimed ZK Tokens. Further investigation has confirmed the previous findings, indicating that the intrusion was limited to the Airdrop distribution contract, and no additional ZK Tokens could be minted from that contract. User funds are safe, and the ZKsync protocol, ZK Token contract, all three governance contracts, and all active token cap minters have not been affected by this incident. Investigation and recovery work are still ongoing, and important updates will be shared in a timely manner. A comprehensive incident report will be released to the community after the investigation is fully completed.
