AWS Marketplace Integration

Concordium has announced that starting October 30th, users will be able to run their own Concordium node on AWS Marketplace.

Tokenomics Update

Concordium introduces significant changes to its tokenomics effective October 30th. The cool-down period has been reduced to seven days, and the mint rate has been lowered to four percent. Transaction fees will also decrease, with simple transfers now costing one euro cent. These adjustments are aimed at improving the efficiency and usability of the cryptocurrency.

Concordium will conduct an online discussion on Discord on its 2025 Governance Committee elections on May 19th at 11:00 UTC. Governance Committee members Mikael Bondum and Andreas Baidas are scheduled to outline the nomination process and subsequent election timeline.
