The U.S. Congressional Budget Office: The Senate version of the "Big and Beautiful" bill will add $3.3 trillion in debt.

According to Jinse Finance and CCTV News, on June 29 local time, the U.S. Congressional Budget Office stated that the Senate version of the "Big and Beautiful" massive tax and spending bill will increase U.S. debt by $3.3 trillion over the next decade. With strong support from Trump, the "Big and Beautiful" bill narrowly passed the House of Representatives on May 22 by one vote and was barely approved in the Senate procedural vote on June 28, stumbling all the way. Furthermore, to ensure the bill passes in the Senate, lawmakers modified some of the provisions, which will need to return to the House for another round of voting after the Senate vote.
