According to Deep Tide TechFlow news on July 18, reported by The Block, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated on July 17 that the Trump administration will continue to support the implementation of a "de minimis exemption" for Crypto Assets transactions to make crypto payments more convenient and efficient. Such exemptions will relieve small daily expenses (like "buying a cup of coffee") from tax reporting obligations. Although the related amendment in the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" signed on July 4 did not pass, the government still plans to explore new legislative solutions. Leavitt also revealed that the Trump administration is planning to hold a signing ceremony for the upcoming stablecoin GENIUS Act to make the United States the "world capital of Crypto Assets."
