A Trump-linked company has received new investment and accepted Bitcoin.

American Bitcoin, which has significant investments from U.S. President Donald Trump's sons Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., received a $220 million investment. For $10 million of the investment obtained through private equity sales, Bitcoin was accepted instead of dollars. The unit price of these Bitcoins was calculated to be an average of $104,000. As of June 10, it was announced that the company had 215 Bitcoins.

Another major mining company, American Bitcoin, in which Hut 8 holds a majority stake, will use this investment to purchase Bitcoin mining equipment and increase its Bitcoin reserves. American Bitcoin also plans to become a public company by merging with Gryphon Digital Mining, another cryptocurrency mining firm listed on Nasdaq.

This merger will take place through a stock exchange, and the name of the new company will now be American Bitcoin. Eric Trump will be on the board of directors after the merger. Operational activities will also remain at Hut 8.

Hut 8 is coming to Dubai

Another important development related to this issue is Hut 8's plans in Dubai, which is the main shareholder of American Bitcoin... Hut 8 opened a new office by establishing a separate company (Hut 8 Investment Ltd.) in Dubai. However, this office and the activities here will not have any connection with American Bitcoin.

Hut 8 CEO Asher Genoot stated in an interview with Bloomberg that regarding the new office the company plans to open in Dubai, "The precision and efficiency of Hut 8's capital strategy will be seen."

Dubai is one of the regions that has positively approached the crypto sector in recent years and has brought clear and transparent regulations for this field. Many crypto companies have also started to choose Dubai as their center in recent years.
