Pump.Fun is the largest meme coin factory in the cryptocurrency field, promising traders that an investment of $100 can quickly double. However, 81% of tokens launched via Pump.Fun have fallen 90% or more from their all-time highs. Only 2.6% of meme coins have held a value of around 40% of ATH in the past month, indicating that most rise rapidly and then collapse.
In the first half of 2025, the ROI of meme coins on Pump.Fun remains modest, with Fartcoin achieving a maximum ROI of 50.22%. Pump.Fun's revenue has fallen from $137 million to $32 million, a decrease of 76.5%. Although the revenue for 2024 reached $290 million, maintaining high levels may be challenging as market excitement wanes and competition increases. The current decline remains an open question for this platform.
