The British company The Smarter Web raised 56 million dollars after purchasing Bitcoin
The UK web design and marketing company The Smarter Web Company has successfully raised £41.2 million (56.59 million USD) from institutional investors, just a few days after purchasing an additional 196.8 Bitcoin at an average price of 103,290 USD each. The total amount of BTC held by the company currently stands at 543.52 BTC, valued at approximately 58.19 million USD.
The capital raised through the rapid book-building method and subscription at an issue price of 2.9 pounds/share. The new shares are expected to be effective from July 1.
In June alone, the company made 5 purchases of BTC, increasing its holdings from 83.24 BTC at the end of May to over 543 BTC. The Smarter Web Company began its Bitcoin accumulation strategy in April 2025, although it has accepted payments in BTC since 2023.
